Cranium

3 day course

Objective:

This course presents a completely new approach to the cranial sphere, which is not based on classical functional techniques but on a detailed analysis of the osteoarticular structure using tension tests on the key points of the osseous head. The examination is rapid, complete and precise. The prioritisation of the lesions found through inhibitory balance tests provides a diagnosis of the dominant lesion of the cranium. The treatment of the different fixations of the osseous head by recoil is then simple and efficient.

The results achieved can be objectively ascertained not only through the Mechanical Link’s tension tests but also with classical listening tests: release the structure and function (the primary respiratory movement) will be re-established.

A course which will no doubt revolutionise your practice of cranial osteopathy…

Program:

DAY 1 (8 hours)

Morning:

Introduction to the Mechanical Link concepts applied to the osseous head.

The craniometric points and their interest in osteopathic practice.

Demonstration of a cranial treatment.

Presentation of the architecture of the osseous head.

Afternoon

Theory, demonstration and practice of the lines of force of the cranium: beams, pillars, arches and dome.  Tension tests, balance tests and treatment by recoil.

Presentation of the articular key points of the crnaium and of the 7 sequences of the examination.

DAY 2 (8 hours)

Morning:

Theory and practice of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sequences: the 3 floors, the reciprocal tension membranes and the temporomandibular module. Tension tests, balance tests and treatment by recoil.

Afternoon

Theory and practice of the 4th, 5th and 6th sequences: the teeth, the bones of the face and the cavities of the face. Tension tests, balance tests and treatment by recoil.

DAY 3 (8 hours)

Morning:

Theory and practice of the 7th sequence: the sutures of the vault and the SBS. Tension tests, balance tests and treatment by recoil.

Theory, demonstration and practice of the lines of force and the articular key points of the occiput. Tension tests, balance tests and treatment by recoil.

Afternoon

Summary and practice of a complete treatment of the cranium.
